When you log into Housecall Pro, you will be directed to the dashboard. The dashboard provides an overview of your service business. The dashboard is organized into modules that showcase key items in your business including:

Online Booking

Housecall Pro’s online booking tool helps you book more jobs by allowing customers to request services online. Housecall Pro offers a “book now” button you can place on your company website or social media channels.

Clicking the button will send the client to an online booking form. Clients will select a service, choose a preferred time, and enter their contact information. When the client completes the form, Housecall Pro will automatically alert you of the incoming job request.

Automated notifications will keep your clients in the loop through each step of the scheduling and dispatching process. Housecall Pro automatically sends your clients an email notification after a job is created, when your field technician is on the way, and after the job is completed.

Mobile Application

Housecall Pro’s mobile application is the primary tool that field technicians will use on a daily basis. Field technicians can use the mobile app to:

Housecall Pro includes a calendar with a jobs list to help field technicians track upcoming work. You can click on the jobs to access service information with the client’s address, notes, line items, and attachments. When you’re ready to begin the job, you can click start, and the mobile app will track the duration of time you spend on the job.


When your en route to your client, you can send an on-my-way text through the mobile app. The client will receive a text notification alerting them that you are on your way, and a link containing pertinent job information.


You can use Housecall Pro’s mobile app to create & send invoices, and receive payments. To receive payments, you can manually enter credit card information into the mobile app, or use Housecall Pro’s card reader device. The mobile app supports electronic signatures for all payments.
