Design & Customization

How you design and customize your surveys can affect how your respondents respond to you and your company on a brand level. Overall, Jotform’s design and customization features are robust, considering they do not require any CSS experience.

Creating an app in Jotform does not require any coding knowledge. The app creating process is similar to the survey-building process. You can also customize the app name, choose when your app is disabled, and preview how your application is viewed on mobile and desktop devices.

Response Management

After you’ve distributed your surveys, you need response management tools to handle the responses you receive. Overall, Jotform’s tools for response management are standard.

Quotas

Setting quotas helps you determine what is the best method in receiving the most relevant responses for your surveys. With Jotform, you can determine the number of responses you receive, allow for multiple responses, and allow respondents to edit their responses after they’ve submitted them.

Tools like these can either eliminate the chance of "spam" responses or allow for more accurate responses because they give respondent’s a chance to think about their answers.

Workflow Automation

They eliminate repetitive tasks, which gives you more time to examine the responses you have received. Overall, Jotform’s workflow automation tools are robust.

For example, you can send an email, add IF/ELSE conditions, and merge or split branches as steps in your approval workflow.

Customer Support

Overall, Jotform’s customer support quality is average. While Jotform offers 24/7 customer support, it only offers two support channels, which are support tickets and email.

Jotform’s help articles, overall, have good readability. They are informative and include helpful components such as videos, bolded terms, and images with markings that help reference the feature being discussed. However, they are slightly paragraph-heavy and would benefit from better spacing.
