RentRedi offers several useful features that help landlords streamline their workflow and improve business operations. These features include automated listing syndication, online rental applications, electronic payment processing, and maintenance request tracking.

RentRedi is typically used by self-managing landlords for residential properties. However, some of RentRedi’s customers have used this platform for HOAs and smaller commercial portfolios.

Overall, RentRedi is an affordable property management solution that optimizes a variety of important tasks. We recommend it for independent landlords responsible for small to medium sized residential portfolios with 1 to 100 units. Online Rental Applications

Tenant Card

The Tenant Card feature helps you manage and compare applicants, so you can quickly find the best tenants. RentRedi will generate a tenant card for each application you receive. You can review applications and documents in the module, and quickly accept or reject prospective tenants.

After you make your decision, you can send an email to prospective tenants notifying them of their application status. RentRedi offers customizable response templates to accelerate communication.

Tenant Screening

With RentRedi you can run full credit, eviction and criminal reports certified through TransUnion. Tenant screenings cost $35, and are paid by your applicants. You can set up auto-tenant screening, that allows landlords to automatically receive a completed tenant screening with every application submitted.

Resident Management

RentRedi includes several features that help landlords streamline their daily workflow and increase operational efficiency. These features include a dashboard, mobile applications, and maintenance management tools.

Dashboard

The dashboard helps landlords keep track of important events and tasks. The dashboard is organized into sections that shows landlords any issues, prequalifications, applications, repair requests, and rent payments that are pending. These sections are customizable, and can be added, removed, or reorganized. Additionally, the dashboard is built on a progressive web app, and is optimized for all devices.

The dashboard also includes a calendar that helps landlords keep track of key dates. It integrates with Google Calendar, and any event that you add will automatically populate in both calendars.

Tenant Mobile App

RentRedi offers a tenant mobile app that allows tenants to complete a variety of tasks. This mobile app allows tenants to:

RentRedi allows you to send push notifications through the tenant mobile app. RentRedi offers bulk notifications and conversation templates to help accelerate communication with your tenants.

Landlord Mobile App

RentRedi’s landlord mobile app allows you to remotely access key information and execute a variety of tasks. The landlord mobile app appears and functions very similarly to RentRedi on the browser.

Maintenance Management

RentRedi allows landlords to track and manage maintenance requests. In the maintenance request module, you can quickly categorize and prioritize maintenance requests, and add important details such as labor and material costs. Tenants can send 5 second videos with maintenance requests, which helps landlords accurately assess the issues.

You can also update the status of the maintenance work in this module. RentRedi automatically sends notifications to tenants, landlords, and personnel whenever the status changes.

Rent Collections and Payments

RentRedi allows you to receive rent and payments electronically. Tenants can make payments on the tenant mobile app by connecting their bank account, or inputting their credit card information. You can set up recurring payment schedules that will send tenants lease charges on a monthly, bi-monthly, or weekly basis.

Also, RentRedi includes an automatic late fees feature. You can add late fee rules, such as grace periods and recurring late fees. Different late fee structures can be assigned by property or by unit.

Unfortunately, RentRedi does not support outgoing payments. If you desire a software solution to manage payments to vendors and owners, you will have to purchase a separate accounting solution.

Accounting

RentRedi helps you track and manage rent payments. All rent payments that are due and overdue are automatically recorded into this module. Payments can be exported as a spreadsheet, or a file formatted for Quickbooks.

RentRedi does not include many accounting features that you may desire including billing or tax management tools. If you desire these features, you will need to purchase a separate accounting solution.

Reporting

With RentRedi, you can generate spreadsheet reports that can help you organize and categorize data. You can conveniently export spreadsheets from virtually anywhere in the platform. However, RentRedi does not offer the type of granular reporting you may find in other property management systems.
