Integrately’s purpose is to connect different applications in order to move data between apps, automate tasks between apps, and automate workflows. There are more than 475 applications that Integrately currently works with, including some key applications for small businesses like Mailchimp, Slack, and QuickBooks Online.

The most important factor when deciding which integration software to use is whether or not they have connections with the applications you wish to automate. Let’s say you need to use Kajabi. In that case, you would want to choose Integrately over Automate.io, which does not currently have a Kajabi integration.

Integrately pricing begins at $19 per month. The plans can get as expensive as $299 per month, and there is a basic free plan for those who need just a few workflows in place. Customers who choose to be billed annually will receive a 20% discount off of the monthly price.

Compared with the pricing of other automation tools, Integrately falls somewhere in the middle. It is not as expensive as Zapier, the leading integration tool for small businesses. It’s a bit more expensive than Automate.io.

How Does Integrately Work?

If you’re not sure how integration software works, here’s a quick example. To describe the process that Integrately uses, we’ll use an example of connecting your Trello and TextMagic accounts.

There are a few terms that you should know to understand Integrately’s processes:

Integrately works by automating one-way workflows between one or more applications. Each workflow is called an “Automation.”

Each Automation has one trigger and one or more outcomes. Each outcome counts as one “Task.” Pay strict attention to how many Tasks you’ll need your Automations to complete, as the Task limits within each plan are strict.

An Example of a Workflow: Connecting Trello and TextMagic

Let’s say that you want to connect your Trello and TextMagic accounts so that a TextMagic message gets sent to your teammates each time a new card is created in Trello.

In this example, there is one Automation. The Automation is the full workflow of automatically sending TextMagic messages when a new card is created. The Automation is triggered by the creation of the card.

Each TextMagic message that gets sent counts as one Task. Therefore, if you want to notify seven team members that the Trello card was created, then seven direct messages will be sent, and seven Tasks were completed by the Automation.

Applications That Integrately Integrates With

Integrately integrates with more than 475 applications. In terms of integration volume, Integrately sits in the middle — some integration software tools have less, and some have significantly more. A list of commonly used applications is below.

Integrately has premium applications, which means that certain applications are restricted to certain plans. The premium application feature could force customers to pay for a more expensive plan than they otherwise would choose if one of their intended applications is restricted to certain plans.

Automations

Automations, Integrately’s automated workflows, are created with a very simple step-by-step workflow builder. Like the other integration software tools, this is incredibly easy to do.

As you can see in the image below, you will select two or more applications that you want to connect. Once you’ve picked your apps, you’ll see a list of available triggers and Tasks. That means that there is a predetermined list of what can start the Automation, and what will be the outcome of the Automation.

The more inexpensive plans will allow for one-step Automations, where the workflow connects two applications. More expensive plans enable multi-step Automations, where more than two applications can be synced.

Creating Automations

When you create automations, there will be short, step-by-step videos within the builder that show you how to find each application’s API key. This makes it incredibly easy to connect tools even if you have no technical background.

When we created and tested a Trello-to-TextMagic automation, we found that it took around one minute to complete the task. It worked efficiently and setup was quite easy, with steps to walk through the process.

Data Modifiers

It’s possible to add more complex data modifiers in case you’d like to have “if-then” scenarios. This image shows an example of the modifiers you can add in each individual Automation.

Workflow Library

Integrately has a library of thousands of pre-built Automations. This is where their “one-click” slogan originates from—customers are able to search this library and click “Install,” which will bring that Automation into their dashboard and set it in motion.

To find these automations, you’ll search for your desired application connections, and all the pre-built workflows will pop up in a list. Integrately will let you know which triggers and tasks are supported, so that you know if the software can do what you want it to before building or selecting Automations.
